Well there are many reasons for wanting to run down public streets in your underwear.
First is that it is FUN !! How many times have you dreamed that you were out in public without you clothes on?
The other reason that TATUR and Leon's want to do this is to help a cause that means so much to so many people.
Muscular Dystrophy is a a group of hereditary muscle diseases that weakens the muscles that move the human body. As runners and able bodied people, we tend to take for granted the gift of mobility that we possess.

On Friday May 20th, the streets of Tulsa's Brookside bar district will come alive with runners, college students, housewives, construction workers, and office workers, running wild in the streets wearing nothing more than their underwear, pajamas, nightgowns, or sports bras.

TATUR and Leon's Tulsa vow to break the Guiness World Record for "Largest Gathering of People in their Underwear"
By 2013, our goal is to have over 20,000 people participate in the Tatur Undie Run and break a record that is claimed to be held by the Undie Run organized by Arizona State University.
Between TU, OSU and OU, and the incredible running communities that we are blessed with here in Oklahoma, we believe that we can topple anything that ASU can do.
The amount of money and clothing that we can amass at an event like this could very well make a huge difference to children who do not own a jacket or to an toddler suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.
