Couples Event - New This Year

The 2011 race will feature a couples competition. The teams can consist of boyfriend/girlfriend, man/wife, or even a girl/guy friends. Special awards for the couples team competition !

The Ladies First 5K is a unique event where the ladies get a three minute head start from the men and the men have to "chase the skirts".

With the women getting a three minute head start it makes it a great "Equalizer" event. There will be cash prizes for the top 5 finishers over-all, regardless of gender. We will also have standard five year age group awards for the 5K .

Historically, given all other factors being the same males finish about three minutes faster then females in a a typical 5K. Who do you think will win this race, a male or female?

The 5K will start at 5:45PM. One Mile Kids, Dogs and Stroller Friendly One Mile Fun Run at 5pm.

There will be  a huge after-party with live music, beer, snacks, a fashion show sporting ladies running attire, men's and women's Celtic apparel, a men's sexy leg contest and plenty of entertainment for the children.

Men, do you think you have some good looking legs? Enter the men's sexy legs contest and find out. The women in the crowd will be the judges.

All paid participants will receive a free entry into the Oklahoma Scottish Festival.

Ladies get a running skirt with their entry and men get a tech shirt with theirs. Skirts and shirts will be limited in numbers, so sign up early to ensure getting one.

We are encouraging all participants in both the 5K and fun run to wear plaid in support of the Scottish Festival.

All proceeds go to the Tyler Hudson Sonshine foundation to help prevent teen suicide.

Sexy Leg Contest

The Men Will Strut Their Stuff

Stick around immediately following the race and watch the men as they enter into the Sexiest Leg Contest.

The females will be a hootin and a hollerin and the men will be walking down the catwalk showing off their legs.

$25 with shirt (includes one free Scottish Festival admission)
$20 without shirt or skirt (includes one free Scottish Festival admission)
$5 Festival Parking
$5 late fee to all race day entries for adults and kids.
