On Saturday morning October you are invited to bring the family out to Bixby's beautiful Spirit Events Center run or walk in a one mile fun run, then check out the finals of the My Big Break Talent Competiton. Walkers and runners will start directly in front of the Spirit Event Center, then wind around the new hip stores that make up the strip mall that encircles the event center.
Lots of media will be out there covering all the days action. A big screen TV will be given away and lots of other fun and exciting events for the whole family. Last year's American Idol winner David Cook was at the event and this will be your chance to get in a short run/walk then check out all the future talent that is coming out of the Tulsa area. October 11, 2008 9 A.M. at Turkey Mountain Tulsa
Come and join all the excitement on Saturday October 11th as some of Tulsa's best mountain bikers and trail runners, stir up some dust on the technical playground called Turkey Mountain. New this year is a 5K trail run for those who would rather not tackle the mountain bike aspect of the event.
