5K at 11:45 p.m. 1 Mile Fun Run at 11pm

The Race Into the New Year is a 5k running race and holiday celebration extravaganza. It will start a 11:45 pm and will allow most of the participants to run from one year to the next. There will also be a one mile Fun Run that will start at 11:00 pm.

The Race Into the New Year is a healthy, fun, safe, and family oriented way to ring in the New Year. Going into it's fourth year we anticipate even bigger crowds over the 400 that participated last year, to come out and enjoy this festive holiday celebration, with party favors, long sleeved tech running shirts and unique finisher awards for the participants. There will be live music prior to the race start, with fireworks at the stroke of midnight and champagne on the course.

There will be a plethora of food and drink after the "Race" to include pizza, black-eyed peas, cornbread, cookies and other delectable treats. There will also be some fabulous door prizes to be won after the race.
