This clinic is for all models, except for the Garmin 405, which will be at a later date.
We will show you how to set it so that you can view your mile splits, use the pace and speed alerts, have it stop timing you at the drinking fountains and redlights. We can show you how to keep your back light on fro the duration of your night runs.
Did you know that your Garmin will tell you wheter you are traveling east, north etc.
We will also work with you one on one and answer any specific questions that you may have. The only thing we can't do for you is to remind you to hit the start button or hit the stop button when you are done. RSVP by email runnersworldtulsa@yahoo.com |

Come attend a talk by an inspirational woman by the name of Sarah McAmis.
Sarah will talk for 30-45 minutes on topics such as weigh loss, running and walking as well as tips on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Here is Sarah's story
Sarah struggled with weight issues her entire life. By the time her twins started kindergarten, she was the heaviest she had ever been. Her feet and knees ached all the time and she could not even come close to keeping up with her active kids. After finally reaching a breaking point, Sarah decided to start running as a way to turn her life around. The very first time she attempted it, she ran only a half of a block in her neighborhood then sat down and cried because she could not go any further. Thankfully, Sarah kept after it and subsequently lost 130 pounds in the process.
